Mechanical Engineer
Hi, I am Ijab M Rahman š. My journey started in Mechanical Engineering at TKM College of Engineering, and today I am pursuing Industrial Engineering & Management at NIT Calicut. Along the way, I have grown passionate about how systems whether machines, businesses, or communities can be shaped to work smarter and create real impact.
I am someone who enjoys exploring both the technical and the managerial sides of problems. On one hand, I love digging into the details of processes, analyzing where improvements can be made, and applying data-driven methods. On the other, I enjoy the bigger picture: understanding people, strategies, and how everything connects together to create impact.
As I continue my journey, my goal is to bring together engineering knowledge, management insights, and a problem-solving mindset to contribute to industries in areas like operations, consulting, and strategy. At the end of the day, Iām driven by the belief that every small improvement ā whether in a process, a system, or a decision ā can create a big impact over time.
What: An innovative, user-friendly central stand for motorcycles based on a Slider-Crank Mechanism, designed to reduce deployment effort. Patent filed (App No: 202541004656 A, Journal No: 07/2025, Dated: 14/02/2025).
How: Developed using SolidWorks for design. Conducted stress analysis using SOLIDWORKS structural simulation and validated with hand calculations. The 3D model was exported to GLB format for web display.
Why: To enhance the usability of motorcycle stands, making them more accessible and easier to operate for a wider range of users, thereby improving the overall user experience.
What: A mathematical model to simulate and optimize the efficiency of an electric vehicle's power system.
How: Developed in Matlab to analyze and improve energy consumption (Wh/Km).
Why: To contribute to the advancement of sustainable transportation by enhancing the performance, reducing energy consumption, and extending the range of electric vehicles.
What: Analysis of simultaneous heat transfer in solid and fluid domains for cooling multiple electronic chips.
How: Utilized Ansys Fluent to simulate and analyze heat transfer at the solid-fluid interface.
Why: To develop more effective and reliable cooling solutions for electronic components, ensuring their optimal performance, longevity, and preventing overheating.
What: Analysis of nanofluid thermal behavior for maintaining temperature uniformity and reducing maximum battery temperature in EVs.
How: Used Ansys Fluent to analyze nanofluid thermal properties in a thermal network design.
Why: To improve the safety, performance, and lifespan of electric vehicle batteries through advanced thermal management, preventing degradation and ensuring operational stability.
